Rustic
Rustic wood reveals the beauty of natural wood with all of its flavors and textures. The wood is chosen for its natural characteristics and textures including randomly occurring variously sized knots, pin holes, worm holes and tracks, and possibly cluster knots.

Dyeing
A process of enhancing the color of wood while letting its grain show through. As with most stains, the dye is applied with a rag or brush. To avoid lap marks, the trick is to keep the surface wet and wipe off the excess dye before it dries.
